Anuradhapura is the birthplace of Sinhala civilization & one of the world’s largest archeological sites. It is considered as the greatest monastic city of the ancient world & was founded in the 5th century BC.

Transfer to Trincomalee. 4 hours dirve.Trincomalee is one of major cities in Sri Lanka and largest city in Eastern Province. In ancient times, this city was called as “Gokanna” and the city is located on a peninsula in Trincomalee Bay formally called “Koddiyar Bay” (Fort by the river). This is well known as one of finest harbors in the world. Trincomalee is considered as one of major settlements of Indo- Aryan in ancient days.
En Route Climb to Mihintale and Following that, you will visit a hot springs site called Kanniya Hot Spring Relax by the Beach.

After breakfast, you will take a tour of Trincomalee, stopping at Koneswaram Temple, which stands on Swami Rock cliff and is a popular vantage point for watching blue whales.

Sigiriya is an ancient palace located in the central Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the Central Province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archaeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high. According to the ancient Sri Lankan chronicle the Culavamsa, this site was selected by King Kasyapa (477 – 495 CE) for his new capital. He built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. On a small plateau about halfway up the side of this rock he built a gateway in the form of an enormous lion. The name of this place is derived from this structure Sīhāgiri, the Lion Rock. The capital and the royal palace were abandoned after the king’s death. It was used as a Buddhist monastery until the 14th century.

On the morning of day six, you will be taken to the Ancient City of Polonnaruwa where you can explore the ruins left by the Cholas Dynasty. Afterwards, you can experience an amazing Sri Lankan Rice and Curry Experience in the locality of Priyamali House.
In the afternoon, we have scheduled a jeep safari ride to visit the Minneriya National Park for an encounter with Sri Lanka’s wildlife.

Breakfast at the hotel and leave for Kandy via Dambulla. En- Route visit Dambulla Cave Temple.

Kandy is the second largest city in the country after Colombo. It was the last capital of the ancient kings’ era of Sri Lanka. The city lies in the midst of hills in the Kandy plateau, which crosses an area of tropical plantations, mainly tea. Kandy is both an administrative and religious city and is also the capital of the Central Province. Kandy is the home of The Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. It was declared a world heritage site by UNESCO in 1988.

After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden in Peradeniya. Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya. On the way visit Ambuluwawa tower at Gampola.

After breakfast, you will board a train from Nuwara Eliya (Nanu Oya to Ella). The driver will pick you up at the Ella station at the end of the ride.

Checkout from your hotel in Ella and transfer to the country’s most popular and visited “Yala National Park”.
Do an adventurous evening Jeep safari tour of Yala National Park to spot wild animals in their natural habitats.
Yala National Park is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. The park consists of five blocks, two of which are now open to the public, and also adjoining parks. The blocks have individual names such as, Ruhuna National Park (block 1) and Kumana National Park or ‘Yala East’ for the adjoining area. It is situated in the southeast region of the country and lies in Southern Province and Uva Province. The park covers 979 square kilometers (378 sq mi) and is located about 300 kilometers (190 mi) from Colombo. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900, and, along with Wilpattu was one of the first two national parks in Sri Lanka, having been designated in 1938. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.

After breakfast drive back to Colombo, On the way can visit Madu river boat safari
